I have just spoken to Miss Gutierrez, who gave me a very glowing report of the group - they were absolutely fantastic. They tried new experiences (and new food!) with an open mind and really made the most of their time. They were always polite and appreciative - as well as good fun to be with - while on excursions and with families. I know that there were some sad goodbyes yesterday and that everyone js looking forward to meeting up again for the return leg. I am delighted to hear this and will pass this onto the Headmaster, Housemaster and tutors.

Hi,
James and George had a fantastic time with their host families in Spain, and I wondered of you could pass on our thanks to the families of Santiago and Fernando.
When the two boys arrived home after a long day, I asked them if they were glad to be home and going to sleep in their own beds, the reply I received from both of them was "no, I would rather be in Spain" What more can I say?

Just to say, Zoe had a great time in Spain. Big thank you for all your hard work and organisation, and huge thank you to the two teachers who went with the group and who made sure everyone had a good time. Zoe had a lot of fun! She said her host family were very kind to her (and they have sent me card saying Zoe was very nice and very polite!). Zoe said she had great food, and as she was with 4 adults (parents and grandparents) who didn't speak English, she spoke a lot of Spanish. All in all, a really great thing to be able to take part in.

Can I add my thanks to all involved in an obviously well organised and much enjoyed school trip. A lot of time, effort and care goes on behind the scenes into making an overseas trip so seemless.
Tom had a great time, his over riding memory being of huge statue of Jesus overlooking Oviedo and the game of football they went to watch. He seems to have eaten well with no fuss or embarrassment on either side, Clara's family ate the same as him which obviously made him feel at home - thank you.
